People Behind the Scenes
Casey Baynes
founded the Casey Cares Foundation and serves
as Executive Director. She graduated from
Towson State University with a M.S. in
Communications. She is responsible for
overseeing all aspects of the Foundation and
reports directly to the Board. She lives with
her husband, Mike, and three small children in
Howard County.
Lorraine
Burnham serves as a Program Coordinator for the
Birthday Blast Program. She has 25 years
administrative experience. Lorraine is
responsible for correspondence, overseeing
donated goods and the Birthday Blast Program.
Lorraine volunteers two days a week - the days
on which the staff looks forward to enjoying
whatever baked goods she may bring
in!
Pam Goode
joined the Casey Cares Foundation as
Communications Director in 2005. She manages
all aspects of media and public relations. Pam
received a degree in Marketing and
Communications from University of Florida and
has worked in non-profit organizations for
almost a decade. She lives in Owings
Mills with her husband, two daughters and a
furry dog.
Jayme Halko
graduated from Penn State with a B.A. degree in
public relations. Volunteering two days a week,
she eagerly helps plan Birthday Blasts, crafts
our quarterly newsletter and monthly
e-newsletter, keeps our networking pages
updated and helps out any way she can. In her
spare time, she also enjoys running
marathons.
Debi Katzenberger is the Program Coordinator for the Kami's Jammies Program. As mother of 5 and grandmother to 10, she has been involved in youth organizations and fund raising activities for over 25 years. She has served as President for the Pasadena Clinic League and Riviera Little League, as well as serving as a member of the Citizens Advisory Board for Riviera Beach Elementary School. In her free time she is a supervisor for a major healthcare provider.
Kim Meyers
serves as a Program Coordinator four days a
week coordinating our Family Festivities
Program. Kim has been working with Casey Cares
Foundation since 2003, coordinating group
parties, Birthday Blasts and Family
Festivities. At home, she's kept quite
busy with her three young children and her
child-like husband.
Leslie Silverman serves as a Program Coordinator for the Family Festivities Program, volunteering her time two days a week to support our programs, coordinating our group parties. She is the proud mom of a little boy and a brand new baby girl. While balancing CCF and her family, Leslie works as "Levitating Leslie" the trapeze artist.
Erin Webb
Ritter, our Program Development Director,
develops funding sources for our programs,
evaluates patient applications, supervises
program staff (paid and volunteer), plans the
Annual Gala, and serves as the grant writer.
She has worked in the non-profit industry in
PA, RI, TX and MD since graduating from
Salisbury University in 1999, now living in
Baltimore City.
