Regal Entertainment Group Foundation Shares CCF Mission
Thursday, October 30, 2008(Casey Cares Foundation)
Regal Entertainment Group announced
yesterday that Casey Cares Foundation has been
selected as one of their charity
partners. Regal will donate theater
passes to Casey Cares' Family Festivities
Program, providing movie nights for dozens of
Casey Cares families each year.
Thomas was the beneficiary of Regal Cinema's
generosity, “Thank you so much for the 10
passes to Regal Cinemas. Our son Thomas
was diagnosed with Leukemia back in February of
2003 when he was 2 years old and went through
an intense treatment regimen over many years in
which we thought he was cured, only to have him
relapse in June of 2006. We took the
entire family to see the new Veggie Tales movie
on and had such a wonderful time. It was
such a treat and is something that we just
can't afford to do normally. Your
kindness and generosity are much appreciated
and it truly makes a difference in our
lives.”
Debbie Robertson, Director of
Community Affairs for Regal Entertainment
Group, shared the news by saying, “We are now
donating our allotment of complimentary passes
to organizations with which we have built a
relationship and through which we feel that we
can make a difference in our communities.
Yours is one of those that I have chosen to
continue because I believe it is very worthy
and helpful to the community.”
We are
honored to share our mission of providing
recreational activities for critically ill
children and their families with everyone at
the Regal Entertainment Group Foundation!
Together we can do great things!
