A Special Evening for Amy

Amy’s special
night began when Gavin Limousine Service picked
her up from school, along with her mother and
brothers as a surprise! Amy, suffering
from a rare blood disorder, had asked her mom
if one day she might be able to ride in a limo,
Casey Cares made that dream happen for
her. Amy and her family were taken to
Texas Roadhouse where they were treated to a
great meal by the manager Keith Clark.
On that same evening, the Texas Roadhouse
staff was dressed in pajamas to support our
Kami’s Jammies Program. They encouraged
diners to bring in new pajamas for the program
and donated 10% of the sales for the evening to
Casey Cares. Says mom, Laural, “It
was a dream come true for Amy and her
brothers. They loved riding in the limo
and Keith was great at Texas Roadhouse.
He wouldn't stop feeding us and the food was
delicious. It was also fun to see all of
the pajamas.”
The
community came out in force donating a total of
275 pairs of pajamas. Special recognition
goes out to Sam of All Out Bail Bonds, who
donated 80 pairs to the cause. A huge
thank you goes out to Keith Clark and the
entire staff of the Texas Roadhouse on Mountain
Road for organizing this very successful event
and helping to provide a wonderful night out
for a very deserving
family.
