LAX Girls Support Casey Cares

Twelve 2nd and 3rd grade Catonsville Girls Lacrosse players learned what caring is all about when they formed a lacrosse team to support the Casey Cares Foundation.  “Team Casey Cares” competed in The Beach Lax Festival in Ocean City, Maryland.  The team raised money and donated more than $500 to Casey Cares.   They had uniforms made with the Casey Cares logo and made a poster to take to each game to spread awareness about Casey Cares.   

“Not only do we have the privilege to support this amazing local charitable organization,” stated Faith Johnson, Asst. Coach and Secretary of the Catonsville Lacrosse Club, “but we also have the opportunity to allow our girls the experience of giving back to help other kids in our community through sportsmanship and teamwork.”  Thank you Team Casey Cares!
