Ravens Revive Casey Cares Kids

Thanks to the fantastic Ravens, some Casey Cares families had an afternoon they will never forget.  Watching practice, meeting their favorite players and getting autographs allowed the 65 kids and their families to forget about illness for a few hours.

Ashton’s mom wrote, “Yesterday was a BLAST!!! We all had an amazing time. We are sooo very grateful for the amazing opportunity that you gave our whole family yesterday. Ashton seriously did not sleep the night before because he was so excited. He was especially excited to see his buddy Ray Rice and we are always blessed by the time he takes to make Ashton feel special. I am amazed at how nice and caring all of the players we met yesterday were. They TRULY are a great group of men! We are blessed that they represent Baltimore both on the field and off. One month ago, Ashton could not even lift his head up and I was shoving syringes of Gatorade in his mouth and yesterday the smiles on his face and the joy we as a family felt in our heart makes all those rough days a little easier.”
