Hampton Inn Baltimore Downtown Convention Center

Friday, November 02, 2012

Now that Halloween is over, you can still provide some treats for sick children - which the Hampton Inn Baltimore Downtown Convention Center is doing.  They have begun to spread some holiday cheer for families with critically-ill children. The holidays can be a trying time for these families, and the hotel is doing their part by participating in the Casey Cares Holiday Giving program, where the company and its employees combine monetary donations to sponsor one of Casey Cares? unique programs:

Family Festivities - Tickets for the whole family to enjoy sporting events, amusement parks, concerts, movies, and more

Birthday Blasts - Surprise deliveries of flowers, cookies, or gift cards to remember a very special milestone in a child's life

•         Celebration Vacations:  All-expense paid weekend getaways for families who need a break from hospital treatment

•         Kami?s Jammies:  New sleepwear and pajama parties for pediatric patients in hospitals

•         Caring Connections Parties: Themed group parties for Casey Cares families to surround themselves with companionship and support.

•         Better Together:  Additional year of programs offered to families who have lost a child

The hotel chain is holding a Staff Service Week from Nov. 11 ? 18 where the staff of each of the locations is asked to be involved with a charity in some way.  The Hampton Inn Baltimore Downtown Convention Center is planning to donate pajamas for a Casey Cares Kami?s Jammies party. In addition, the location will have a tree in the lobby decorated with special ornaments with pictures of Casey Cares children and information on how to support the foundation, as well as holding a friendly contest between their properties to see which Hampton Inn can collect the largest amount for Casey Cares.  Thank you for getting involved this holiday season.
